To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, a special collaboration watch with Seiko has been released. Limited to 2,000 numbered pieces, the timepiece is now available through the premium character goods online shop PREMICO.
Based on the light novel series by Tanigawa Nagaru with illustrations by Itou Noizi, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu follows the school club SOS団 (SOS Brigade) led by the eccentric Haruhi Suzumiya. The 2006 TV anime became a social phenomenon thanks to its shuffled episode order and the viral dance for the ending theme “Hare Hare Yukai.” In 2026, the series marks its 20th anniversary with the “Arigatou Haruhi” project, expressing gratitude to fans.
The “Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu Anime 20th Anniversary Watch” is a chronograph model created in collaboration with Seiko. The dial features a metallic light blue finish inspired by Haruhi’s uniform, with a subtle “H” initial that appears depending on the viewing angle.
Details include the brigade chief’s red armband, a megaphone icon, and the SOS団 emblem. The cowhide leather strap is finished in a smoky tone matching the uniform color scheme. The watch comes in a special box with the 20th anniversary logo embossed in foil, and each of the 2,000 units has an edition number engraved on the case back.
The watch is priced at 65,780 yen (tax included) and is scheduled to ship sequentially from mid-December 2026. Orders are being taken at the premium character goods online shop PREMICO.
