New merchandise for the popular picture book series Pan Dorobou will be available for pre-order exclusively for members of the official fan club “Pan Dorobou Itoshi no Pan Club.”
Pan Dorobou is a beloved picture book series by Keiko Shibata, with cumulative sales exceeding 5.5 million copies. The story follows a mischievous and lovable thief who searches for delicious bread, causing various incidents. An anime adaptation directed by Kyōgoku Takahiro, with animation by Shin-Ei Animation, is set to air on NHK E-TV starting October 2026. The role of Pan Dorobou will be voiced by Asai Ayaka, and the ending theme song will be handled by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
The newly announced goods feature original illustrations drawn by Keiko Shibata, which were previously revealed within the fan club. The lineup includes a variety of items with number motifs.
Acrylic Keyholder (Number Series) – 12 types (numbers 1 to 12), each 800 yen (tax included). Other items include “Mejirushi Charm” keychains and fabric items with number patterns.
Clear File Set (Number Series) – 1,100 yen (tax included). This set is a fan club member exclusive.
Pouch with Gusset (Number Series) – 2,400 yen (tax included).
The pre-order period runs from July 23 (Thursday) 12:00 to July 31 (Friday) 23:59, 2026. Delivery is scheduled for mid to late August, earlier than the general sale planned for mid-September. Please note that orders will close once the planned quantity is reached. Only paid members of the Itoshi no Pan Club are eligible for this pre-order.
