From the popular fantasy series Katainaka no Ossan, Kensē ni Naru (The Old Man Who Became a Sword Saint), a 1/6 scale figure of heroine Alucia Citrus is now available for pre-order at major hobby retailer AmiAmi. Priced at 24,200 yen (tax included), the figure is scheduled for release in February 2027.

About the Series
Katainaka no Ossan, Kensē ni Naru is a fantasy sword-fighting story originally written by Sagasaki Shigeru with illustrations by Nabeshima Tetsuhiro. The novel series, along with a manga adaptation by Naitō Kazuki and two spin-off titles, has surpassed 10 million copies in cumulative sales. The first TV anime season aired from April to June 2025 and achieved great success, ranking in Prime Video’s top 10 in over 45 countries and regions.
The second season, Katainaka no Ossan, Kensē ni Naru II, is currently airing. It follows Beryl Gardinant, a former rural sword instructor who now serves as a special instructor for the knight order and guardian of orphans in the capital. However, new challenges await him at a magical academy, his hometown, a border territory, and a foreign land full of schemes. The anime is directed by Kazumi Akio, with animation production by Passione and Hayabusa Film. The cast includes Hirata Hiroaki as Beryl Gardinant.
