Monchhichi is teaming up with ladies’ fashion brand OPAQUE.CLIP for the first time. The collaboration collection will be available at select stores and the online store from July 30, 2026 (Thursday).
Monchhichi is a plush toy first released by Sekiguchi in 1974, known for its pacifier pose and cute freckles. The name comes from the French words “mon” (my) and “petit” (small and cute), combined with “mon” from monkey and the “chu chu” sound of sucking a pacifier. To date, over 70 million units have been sold in more than 30 countries, and 2024 marked its 50th anniversary.
The collaboration lineup includes spangle-embellished bags and pouches, a cushion with a built-in blanket, roomwear, T-shirts, and more—perfect for both going out and relaxing at home. Every item comes with a special collaboration name tag and hang tag.

Face Spangle A4 Tote Bag (5,480 yen) – Features a Monchhichi face embroidered on the front, with spangle material for the hair that sparkles. Made of smooth nylon, with a magnetic closure and three inner pockets. A4 size fits inside.
Face Spangle Flat Tissue Pouch (3,480 yen) – Embroidered Monchhichi face with spangle hair. Nylon body, zipper closure, and a slit on the back for pocket tissues. The zipper pull has a cute metal Monchhichi face charm.
Kirafuwa Face Pouch (3,980 yen) – A face-shaped pouch with embroidered Monchhichi face, zipper closure, and original metal face charm. Includes an inner pocket for small items.
Face Embroidery Boa Marche Tote Bag (4,480 yen) – A soft, warm boa material tote with embroidered Monchhichi face. Comes with an original metal face charm. One inner pocket, sturdy gusset, ideal as a sub-bag.
Pocket Blanket Face Cushion (5,980 yen) – A face-shaped cushion with a blanket stored inside. The blanket has a pocket and is made of warm, soft material.
Face Embroidery Boa A4 Tote Bag (5,480 yen) – Boa material tote with embroidered Monchhichi face, magnetic closure, three inner pockets, and original metal face charm. A4 size fits.
Satin Drawstring Room Socks (3,980 yen) – Long room socks with Monchhichi logo, warm material, and a satin drawstring pouch with embroidered face.
Satin Drawstring Hair Band (3,980 yen) – Soft hair band with Monchhichi logo and ribbon design, gentle elastic. Comes with a satin drawstring pouch with embroidered face.
Roomwear One-Piece (7,150 yen) – Soft, fluffy fabric with a large front pocket, adjustable drawstring hood, and logo accents on the cuffs and chest.
Roomwear Set-Up (7,700 yen) – Zip-up hoodie and shorts set with embroidered Monchhichi face, front pockets, adjustable hood, and logo/line accents.
Polo Knit (4,980 yen) – Casual yet elegant polo with Monchhichi logo on the left chest and face embroidery on the left sleeve. Colorful trim and buttons. (Scheduled for early August release.)
T-Shirt (4,980 yen) – Loose-fit T-shirt with printed Monchhichi face and embroidered logo on the front, and logo print on the back neck. Slightly longer sleeves. (Scheduled for early August release.)
The Monchhichi × OPAQUE.CLIP collaboration collection goes on sale July 30, 2026 (Thursday) at select stores and the online store.
