Popular character Monchhichi and ladies’ brand jouetie have announced a collaboration. Lottery sales for the collection will begin on July 31, 2026, via the official online shop RUNWAY channel, followed by ZOZOTOWN on August 7, and at jouetie direct stores on August 18.
Monchhichi is a plush toy first released by Sekiguchi in 1974, known for its pacifier pose and cute freckles. The name comes from the French words “mon” (my) and “petit” (small and cute), combined with “mon” from monkey and the sucking sound “chuu chuu.” To date, over 70 million units have been sold in more than 30 countries, and 2024 marked its 50th anniversary.
The collaboration blends Monchhichi’s lovable, friendly world with jouetie’s edgy design. Five items are available: an oversized T-shirt featuring retro Monchhichi photos, a compact cardigan with a catchy back design, a keychain in cat-line and twin-tail styles, a can badge set, and a printed nap sack. The keychain also features jouetie’s signature red check and lace bib detail.
The nap sack and can badge set add a fun, colorful touch to any outfit.
