The indoor theme park NAMJATOWN (Nanja Town) is about to be overrun by demons from the hit anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). A special collaboration event titled “Anime ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ -Oni no Sumi Machi-” will run from August 21 to October 4, 2026.
Based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, which has sold over 150 million copies across 23 volumes, the anime follows Tanjirou Kamado as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to save his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon. The series, animated by ufotable, began with the “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” in April 2019. The latest installment, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle Arc, is being released as a trilogy; Chapter 1, “Akaza Returns,” hit theaters on July 18, 2025. A full rerun of the series has been airing every Sunday morning since April 5, 2026.
For this collaboration, ufotable has created brand-new illustrations of eight characters: the demons Akaza, Kaigaku, Gyuutarou, Daki, Rui, and Enmu, as well as Tamayo and Yuushirou. These illustrations will be used on exclusive merchandise, mini-games, rally games, attractions, and original food and desserts.
The lineup of original goods includes:
- Can badge collection (16 types)
- Acrylic stand (8 types)
- Clear card collection (16 types)
- Name badge collection (19 types)
- Jumbo uchiwa fan (8 types)
- Candy-style keychain (8 types)
As a store purchase bonus, customers who spend 3,000 yen or more per transaction on related products will receive one “cat-shaped illustration sheet” (8 types, random).
A mini-game themed around Rui will also be available. Players follow threads to identify the demon on screen and receive a prize accordingly.
A rally game called “Follow Chachamaru! Paw Print Rally” invites guests to track Chachamaru’s paw prints, find the cat, and report at the goal counter to receive a participation prize.
Themed desserts and food will be sold, each accompanied by an “illustration sheet” (11 types) featuring the corresponding character art.
NAMJATOWN’s popular ride-type quiz attraction “Sentou Quiz Donbura Q” will return in a limited-time collaboration version, featuring all-new questions about the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. The attraction includes original voice performances by Tanjirou Kamado (CV: Hanae Natsuki) and Yuushirou (CV: Yamashita Daiki) to enhance the experience.
