“Digimon” New TV Anime “DIGIMON BEATBREAK” Stars Irino Miyuu & Han Megumi as Protagonist & Partner! “It’s sure to be a work that resonates with all generations!”
The *Digimon* series’ first completely new TV anime in approximately two years, titled *DIGIMON BEATBREAK*, is set to air starting in October 2025. It has just been revealed that the protagonist, Tenma Tomorou, will be voiced by Irino Miyuu, and his partner, Gekkomon, will be voiced by Han Megumi. *Digimon*, or *Digital Monster*, is a 育成型携帯液晶ゲーム (ikuseigata keitai ekishou game), a portable virtual pet game, that was released in 1997. While being a palm-sized portable LCD game, it gained overwhelming popularity among children with its innovative element of not only raising monsters but also enjoying battles between monsters with friends. Starting with *Digimon Adventure*, released in 1999, the anime has produced a total of nine TV series and thirteen movies, gaining support from a wide range of generations.
*DIGIMON BEATBREAK* is a new TV anime series airing for the first time in approximately two years, following the previous work *Digimon Ghost Game*, which aired from October 2021 to March 2023. While the character of the protagonist is still shrouded in mystery, following the recent release of the character visuals, it has now been revealed that the protagonist, Tenma Tomorou, will be voiced by Irino Miyuu, and his partner Digimon, Gekkomon, will be voiced by Han Megumi.

Regarding his appearance, Irino-san, who said that *Digimon* was one of the central parts of his playtime when he was in elementary school, commented, “I want children living today to feel the same excitement we felt back then. And for people my age, busy with life, I hope it reminds them of those carefree days they were obsessed with playing! No, regardless of age or gender!
