A television anime adaptation has been announced for the light novel series Destiny Unchain Online: Kyuuketsuki Shoujo to Natte, Yagate “Aka no Maou” to Yobareru you ni Narimashita (also known as Destiny Unchain Online: How I Became the Crimson Devil). An official X (formerly Twitter) account was opened on Friday, and illustrator Yachimoto shared a commemorative illustration.

Kodansha later acquired the series and started publishing it in print under its K Ranobe Books imprint in November 2022, with illustrations by Yachimoto. The third volume was released on June 2.

Kodansha began simulpublishing the manga adaptation in English on its K Manga service as Destiny Unchain Online: How I Became the Crimson Devil on March 15.
