Exciting news for fans of the KING OF PRISM series! A fresh batch of merchandise featuring brand-new illustrations themed around “support screenings” is set to arrive. These cool new items and cheering goods will be available starting July 24, 2025, at the “KING OF PRISM POP UP SHOP in IKE Joshi Character Manga Fes” held at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro in Tokyo, and also sequentially on the Chugaionline EC site operated by Chugai Mining.
What is KING OF PRISM?
For those new to the series, KING OF PRISM is a theatrical anime series that follows the story of unique boys captivated by prism shows. They face various trials and difficulties as they strive to become “Prism Stars,” the performers who make girls’ hearts flutter the most. It began as a spinoff of the TV anime Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, with the release of the film KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm in January 2016. The series is well-known for popularizing the unique viewing style known as “support screenings,” where audiences are encouraged to cheer, sing along, and react loudly during the movie.
The latest installment in the series, KING OF PRISM-Your Endless Call- minna kirameke! Prism☆Tours, premiered on June 27, 2025. This new film brings together “Pretty Boys” from across the various “Pretty Series” works, traveling through time and worlds via time machine to showcase spectacular new prism shows.
