An event dedicated to enjoying the world of Kinnikuman, titled “Kinnikuman STATION”, is currently underway until July 17, 2025, outside the Central Gate on the 2nd Floor of JR Sendai Station, in front of the stained glass window. In addition to numerous limited and new products, starting from July 12th, limited edition figures by the figure maker “CCPJAPAN” have become available as additional items, adding to the excitement.
Kinnikuman is a fighting manga created by Yudetamago, the joint name of original scenario writer Shimada Takashi and artist Nakai Yoshinori. It began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1979. The story follows Kinnikuman, a clumsy and foolish dropout Choujin from Planet Kinniku, as he grows into the strongest man in the Choujin fighting world through repeated efforts, friendship, and victories. The series is still being serialized, now published in “Weekly Playboy” and “Weekly Playboy News,” with cumulative sales exceeding 77 million copies. The anime adaptation began airing in 1983, and the highly popular “Kinkeshi” (Kinnikuman erasers) series, which became a huge boom, is known to have sold over 180 million units.
About the New Anime Series
Regarding the anime, the new series Kinnikuman Kanpeki Choujin Shiso-hen was broadcast as Season 1 from July to September 2024 and Season 2 from January to March 2025. This new anime covers the highly popular “Perfect Origin Arc” from the original manga, which is a direct continuation of the “Kinniku Throne Contest Arc” that was previously animated.

This particular version stunningly depicts him activating his supreme “Koudo 10 Diamond Power,” which repels all striking techniques, featuring a special sparkly molded body for that extra shine.
The “Takumi Shiyou Cast Sei CMC NO.48 Muscle Docking Gensaku Color” is a magnificent three-dimensional representation of the iconic Muscle Docking technique from the high-quality “Takumi Shiyou” series. This premium series uses PU and PS (polyurethane/polystone) cast materials, often utilized for fine art pieces and statues, ensuring exceptional detail and finish.
The “CMC NO.EX Nemesis Gensaku Color Face Guard Toubu Fuzoku Ver.” is a special edition figure of Nemesis, one of the top Choujin among the formidable Perfect Large Number Army. In the “CMC NO.EX Sunigater Shin Gensaku Color” figure, Sunigater, who presides over “Jigoku Meguri No.1 Wani Jigoku” (Hell Tour No. 1 Crocodile Hell) and was the first among the Devil Six Knights to fight Kinnikuman, is faithfully reissued with coloring inspired by the new chapters after the “Large Number Army Arc”.
