The Netflix panel at Anime NYC 2026 brought new details for the anime adaptation of Kasumi Yasuda‘s Fool Night manga. The show is set to premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix on November 26, and the panel revealed an additional cast list along with a second teaser promotional video.

Yukawa Atsushi, known for directing episodes of Suzume no Tojimari, is helming the anime at Sunrise and Shaft. Tanaka Jin is handling series composition, Satou Robert is designing characters, and Katou Tatsuya is composing the music.
Yasuda began serializing the sci-fi drama in Big Comic Superior in November 2020. Shogakukan published the 13th volume on June 30. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2023 and released the ninth volume on June 16, with the tenth volume planned for September 15.
