As August arrives, the peak of summer is truly upon us! On bright, sunny days, it’s quite common to see people donning a stylish pair of sunglasses, isn’t it?
Anime series often feature characters who wear sunglasses, and they certainly know how to make an impression! By concealing their eyes, these characters frequently exude a powerful and mysterious presence, turning their sunglasses into an unmistakable trademark. The reasons they wear them are as varied as the characters themselves—some might use them to hide their true identity, while others might simply want to project an intimidating aura.
Cast Your Vote! Which Character is Your Favorite “Sunglasses” Wielder?
Building on the success of last year’s poll, Anime! Anime! is excited to announce another reader survey, this time titled “Who is your favorite ‘Sunglasses’ character?” We invite you to participate in this free-response survey by telling us which character, and from which series, you think of when you hear “sunglasses character.”
*The characters eligible for this survey include those from various 2D content such as anime works (TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVA, etc.), games, CD series, and manga.
*Please limit your response to one entry per person.
Basic information such as gender and age are optional, and you may choose not to answer them. Everyone is welcome to participate, so feel free to join in!
The deadline to submit your responses is August 12th. The survey results will be compiled and released as soon as they are ready, so be sure to look forward to them!
