Bandai Namco Music Live and Bandai Namco Filmworks have announced a joint project to create a new band IP, and they are now accepting applications for the band members who will bring it to life. The audition, officially titled “Bandai Namco Filmworks × Bandai Namco Music Live Band Member Audition Supported by Eggs,” is being held with promotional support from Eggs, one of Japan’s largest free indie music platforms.
The project is looking for four members: a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and drummer. The vocalist position may be filled by a guitar-vocalist or bass-vocalist. Successful applicants will be expected to actively perform as band members while also voicing characters that appear in the new IP. Professional musicians will provide lessons, and the call is for “band members with a weeds spirit who want to do cool things.”
