The TV anime Ookami to Koushinryou: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF has announced that its second season is set to air in 2027. Along with the announcement, the second teaser visual was unveiled, giving fans a first look at the series’ new character, Eve Bolan.
Adapted from Hasekura Isuna’s light novel series published by KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko imprint, the story earned the Silver Prize at the 12th Dengeki Novel Award. The series celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2026, and cumulative worldwide circulation has surpassed 10 million copies, including domestic print, digital, and overseas editions. The narrative continues in the sequel Ookami to Koushinryou: Spring Log and the spin-off Shin Setsu Ookami to Koushinryou: Ookami to Youhishi.
Second Teaser Visual
The newly released teaser visual places viewers in a quiet room on the travelers’ journey. There, merchant Kraft Lawrence sits at the table, while Holo smiles innocently beside him. Behind them stands Eve Bolan, a mysterious merchant who appears for the first time in the second season. Her ambiguous and imposing presence brings a subtle tension to the peaceful scene.
