The official website for the Romelia Senki (Romelia War Chronicle) television anime announced 14 additional cast members on Friday. The series, adapting Ariyama Ryou’s action fantasy light novel, is set to air for two consecutive cours on Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto starting in October 2026.

Staff
Shirai Hiroshi (Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero episode director) is helming the anime at studio Atra. Satsuki Aya (Kawaisugi Crisis) is in charge of series composition and script. Saitou Yoshiko (Towa no Yuugure) and Ootaka Yuuta (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 3rd Season animation director) are designing the characters, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO (Dark Gathering) is composing the music.
Source Material
Ariyama Ryou originally began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2019. Shogakukan launched the title under its Gagaga Books label in June 2020 with illustrations by Kodama. The sixth volume shipped in November 2025. A manga adaptation by Kamito Ryou started on the Manga Doa app in April 2021, and the fifth volume was released in November 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in March 2025; the third volume published on August 11, with the fourth scheduled for December 1.
