The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (Kyomaf) 2026 is set to take place on September 19 and 20, marking the event’s 15th anniversary. Hosted at Miyako Messe, Rohm Theatre Kyoto, and the Kyoto International Manga Museum, this year’s fair promises two days packed with manga, anime, and game excitement across Kyoto.

Record-Scale Exhibitor Presence and Diverse Stage Programs
The main venue will host 63 companies and organizations this year, the largest number of booths in the event’s history. Participants include Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation, KADOKAWA, Aniplex, Content Seed, MBS, DeNA, and Kansai TV, among others. Visitors can enjoy merchandise sales and character greeting events at each booth.

A newly established “Creative Stage” will feature creators and producers from the manga, anime, and game industries, offering ten programs that delve into production secrets and behind-the-scenes stories. Meanwhile, the “Kyomaf Stage” and “Miyako Messe Stage” will host 27 programs, the highest number ever, including popular titles such as Detective Conan, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-, and Fate/Grand Order.
Original Collab Visual Goods and Cafe Experiences
Kyomaf original goods will feature the special “Kyomaf Collab Visuals” from six titles: Kaze wo Tsugumono, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Shu-iro no Kamen, Tokyo Revengers, Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago de Dereru Tonari no Arya-san, and Wazamono Monogatari Karen Ouga.

The “Kyomaf Cafe Stand” will serve original Kyomaf foods as well as collaboration dishes inspired by Kaze wo Tsugumono, which is set in Kyoto. The “Okoshiyasu Taishi Cafe” will feature original menus devised by this year’s ambassadors, Kaji Yuuki and Uesaka Sumire. Cosplay events and other crowd-pleasing activities are also planned.
15th Anniversary Special Projects
To celebrate the 15th edition, organizers will display past main visuals featuring Kyo no Tsukasa and Uzumasa Moe, alongside a special “Kyomaf-only ema prayer project” in collaboration with Heian Jingu. These exclusive offerings make this year’s event particularly memorable.
