MAYLA is bringing the world of the TV anime “Rozen Maiden” into your wardrobe with a new line of “Iconic Skirts” inspired by two of the series’ most beloved dolls: Shinku and Suigintou. The collaboration dresses fans in elegant, gothic fashion that echoes the signature styles of these characters.
“Rozen Maiden” is a gothic fantasy manga by PEACH-PIT, originally serialized in Monthly Comic Birds from 2002 to 2007 under the title “Rozen Maiden,” and later moved to Weekly Young Jump from 2008 to 2014. The story follows seven dolls known as the “Rozen Maiden,” created by the legendary dollmaker Rozen. Each doll, along with her master, seeks to become the “perfect girl” Alice, leading to battles among sisters.
The TV anime series first aired in 2004 (season 1) produced by Nomad, followed by season 2 in 2005, a special in 2006, and a new series by Studio Deen in 2013. In the anime, Shinku is voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki, and Suigintou by Tanaka Rie.
Shinku’s Elegant Fishtail Skirt
For Shinku, the design features a classic, heavy fishtail skirt with a peplum style at the waist reminiscent of a cape, using a glossy damask pattern fabric. The skirt layers frills and lace to create a voluminous silhouette that echoes the petals of a rose and a doll-like presence.

Suigintou’s Gothic Design
For Suigintou, the skirt adopts a gothic style that combines darkness and refinement. The front V-shaped part features embroidery of the inverted cross motif that is symbolic of Suigintou. The skirt also includes a large back ribbon for adjusting the fit and a corset-style lacing design.

Reservation Information
The “Rozen Maiden Iconic Skirts” are available for reservation from September 14, 2026 at 17:00 to October 14, 2026 at 17:00. Each skirt is priced at 30,800 yen (tax included).
