Harmonyland’s Halloween: A “SCREAM!!” Masquerade Awaits!
Sanrio Character Park Harmonyland, located in Hiji-machi, Ooita Prefecture, is set to host a thrilling Halloween event themed around a masquerade. Titled “Harmony Halloween Magical Masquerade,” this spooky celebration will run from September 12 to November 4, 2025. Prepare for a spine-tingling experience, featuring a live show under the overall supervision of Tokyo Gegegay with voice actor Shimono Hiro lending his talent, along with food items that will make you “SCREAM!!” and special greetings where you can meet Ghost Kitty.

Marking its second year as Harmonyland’s Halloween event, “Harmony Halloween Magical Masquerade” invites guests to a mysterious masquerade where ghosts gather. This event promises to deliver special content that will make you uncontrollably let out three kinds of “SCREAM!!”s: terror, excitement, and surprise, going beyond just cuteness!
Unleash Your Inner Ghost at the Live Show
During the event period, a limited-time, guest-participatory live show called “Magical Masquerade~ EXCITE!~” will be staged. This show features Hello Kitty and her companions adorned in enchanting masquerade-style costumes.
Just like last year, Tokyo Gegegay takes on the role of overall supervision, while Shimono Hiro returns to voice “Jack,” a pivotal character in the show. This year, the Halloween-esque elements have been significantly powered up, especially the “screaming” scenes!
Meet Spooky Friends and Join the Fun
Also, don’t miss the “Ghost Kitty Greeting,” where you can meet Ghost Kitty herself, or the Special Greeting (advance reservation required, paid) to meet the characters from the live show. Fun is guaranteed with “Rock ‘n’ Halloween Bingo,” a lively bingo game everyone can enjoy, and the “SCREAM!! Photo Spot,” perfect for capturing memories if you visit in costume!
Ghastly Goodies and Merch
Get ready to indulge in a range of mysterious, limited-time Halloween-themed food and merchandise. Dive into the “SCREAM!! BAR,” offering super spicy menu items with five different levels of heat, or sip on “Kuromi’s Magical Soda,” a mischievous concoction presented by Kuromi herself.
Furthermore, throughout the event, a “SCREAM!! MAP” will be distributed within the park, guiding you to all the “SCREAM!!” experiences on offer. Grab a map and embark on a quest to find your favorite “SCREAM!!” moment! During the Halloween period, guests are also welcome to visit the park in costume. Additionally, a special greeting from the “My Melody & Kuromi Anniversary Party,” an anniversary event for My Melody and Kuromi, will also be held.
