The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kaeru Chouhoukiteki‘s Majo to Youhei light novel has revealed additional cast and staff members, the premiere date, a second teaser visual, and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to debut across 30 NTV stations and BS NTV in April 2027.

Light Novel and Manga
Kaeru Chouhoukiteki began publishing the action fantasy novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in June 2021. Micro Magazine has been releasing the light novel under its GCN Bunko imprint with illustrations by Bench Kanase since May 2023. The seventh volume went on sale on January 20, and the eighth volume is scheduled for release on September 24. The series has a cumulative 1.7 million copies in circulation.
A manga adaptation by Makoto Miyagi began serialization on the Magazine Pocket service in January 2024. Kodansha released the ninth volume on August 7.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel in English in February 2024 and published the first part of the sixth volume on April 28. The seventh volume is planned for release on November 24. Kodansha publishes the manga digitally in English on its K Manga app and website.
