
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s Yomi no Tsugai manga announced on Sunday that a second season is in production. Along with the announcement, the site revealed a new key visual and a promotional video.
Produced by Bones Film, the first season ran for 24 episodes starting in Spring 2026. Crunchyroll streamed the series with multiple subtitle and dub options.
Arakawa began serializing the manga in Shounen Gangan in December 2021. Square Enix published the 13th volume on July 10. The series has over 4 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Square Enix licensed the manga in English in July 2022 and released the 11th volume on August 11. The 12th volume is scheduled for a January 2027 release.
