Shounen Jump+ Celebrates 10 Years with a Summer Special: 11 Consecutive One-Shots from Popular Mangaka!
The manga magazine app, Shounen Jump+, is set to kick off its “Summer Special One-Shot 11-Part Series” starting August 18th, as part of its 10th-anniversary celebrations. Fans can look forward to brand-new works from renowned creators behind popular anime adaptations, including Taizan5 of `Takopii no Genzai` fame and Mizu Asato, known for `Aharen-san wa Hakarenai`.

Shounen Jump+, the manga magazine app from Shueisha, first launched its service in September 2014. In October 2024, it further cemented its commitment to one-shot manga by opening the “Dokkiri Discovery” portal site. This exciting lineup features new works from 12 talented mangaka who have previously serialized their works on Shounen Jump+. Prepare yourselves for a diverse collection of engaging stories!
Spotlight on Featured One-Shots
The series kicks off on August 18th with `Fighting Girls`, a brand-new one-shot by Taizan5, whose acclaimed work `Takopii no Genzai` was recently adapted into a web anime. The very next day, August 19th, will feature `Hakurenka Koukou Lotion Sumou-bu` by Mizu Asato, the creator behind the beloved `Aharen-san wa Hakarenai`.
But that’s not all! This special event also includes new works from other celebrated creators whose series have received anime adaptations, such as Koyama Yuujirou, the artist behind `Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou`, and Sunohara Robinson, the original story writer for `Hime-sama “Goumon” no Jikan desu`. Anime fans definitely won’t want to miss this exciting collaboration!
