New merchandise inspired by the TV anime BANANA FISH is set to go on sale from September 30, 2026 through Noitamina Apparel. The collection features beautiful art and scene shots from the series across eight items, including a large art clock and acrylic puzzle keyholders.
BANANA FISH is based on Yoshida Akio’s suspense-action manga, which was serialized in Bessatsu Shoujo Comic from 1985 to 1994. The story follows Ash Lynx, a young man who leads a street gang in New York, and Okumura Eiji, a Japanese youth who travels there to interview him. Together they seek the truth behind the mysterious phrase “Banana Fish.” The TV anime adaptation aired from July to December 2018.
The goods come from Noitamina Apparel, an apparel brand born from Fuji TV’s late-night anime block Noitamina. The lineup includes a total of eight items.
Big Art Clock
The Big Art Clock is available in four designs. At approximately 350 mm wide and 750 mm tall, it is a sizable piece that lets delicate illustrations stand out as interior decor.
Camera Strap
The Camera Strap features designs on both sides and comes with Polaroid-style cards of Ash and Eiji.
Layered Acrylic Art
Layered Acrylic Art is printed on both sides of 15 mm-thick acrylic to express depth. The item combines six delicate illustrations with the transparency of acrylic.
Akuyubi Star (R) (Acrylic Ring)
The Akuyubi Star (R) acrylic ring lineup covers 12 characters. The ring portion can be slipped over a finger for photos, or the item can be displayed as an acrylic stand.
Hoodie and T-Shirt #23
The apparel lineup includes a hoodie and a T-shirt, each available in S, M, and L sizes. The design uses a scene shot of Ash Lynx praying to God from episode 23.
Double-Sided Print Pouch
The Double-Sided Print Pouch takes design cues from a clapperboard and end roll. Inside, it features a scene shot of Ash Lynx and Okumura Eiji joking around at the breakfast table.
Acrylic Puzzle Keyholder A / B / C
The Acrylic Puzzle Keyholder offers 36 designs in three lineups—A, B, and C—with 12 designs each. A complete set with all 12 designs from a lineup is also available.
