Inu × Boku SS 15th Anniversary: Cast and Staff Comments Arrive, KPF2026 Stage Set

A special website celebrating the 15th anniversary of the TV anime Inu × Boku SS has opened. Congratulations comments from the main cast and staff have arrived, and it has also been announced that Hidaka Rina and Hikasa Youko will appear at the Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival, to be held on November 28 and 29, 2026.

15th Anniversary Site and KPF2026 Stage

The special site commemorates the 15th anniversary of the Inu × Boku SS TV anime. Details of the 15th anniversary projects are scheduled to be announced periodically.

At the Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival, which runs over two days on November 28 and 29, a TV anime Inu × Boku SS 15th anniversary stage has been confirmed. Hidaka Rina, who voices Shirakiin Ririchiyo, and Hikasa Youko, who voices Yukinokouji Nobara, are set to appear.

The stage is scheduled for November 28, 2026 (Saturday) from 12:45.

About Inu × Boku SS

Inu × Boku SS is a manga by Fujiwara Cocoa that ran in Monthly Gangan JOKER from the May 2009 issue. The story is set in Ayakashi Kan, a top-class celebrity mansion where humans who are reincarnations of ayakashi ancestors gather. It depicts the mysterious lives of the residents and their Secret Service bodyguards. The TV anime aired from January 2012.

Shirakiin Ririchiyo has trouble interacting with people. To change herself, she moves into Ayakashi Kan, where she meets Miketsukami Soushi, the Secret Service bodyguard assigned to her. Soushi pleads with her: ‘Please make me your dog…!’

Hidaka Rina (Shirakiin Ririchiyo)

Already 15 years, or still only 15 years? Honestly, I feel both. Even now I clearly remember how much support I received from co-stars and production staff at the dubbing sessions. The things they taught me and the words they gave me are still things I treasure in my voice-acting career. I often hear people say, ‘I watched Inu × Boku SS! I love it!’ and I feel every day that it is a work that continues to be loved by many people. I myself love Inu × Boku SS so much that I have reached for the original manga many times over these 15 years, and I believe it will remain an irreplaceable work for me. Once again, congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the Inu × Boku SS TV anime.

Nakamura Yuuichi (Miketsukami Soushi)

15 years passed in the blink of an eye, and surprise comes before nostalgia. The cast were still young at the time, but now we have gained experience, and we might even be able to give better performances than back then. Still, it is also true that we could bring out something that could only be born at that time. I think there is a message we were able to convey precisely because we worked so hard then. If you like, I hope you will revisit the work into which we poured our passion at that time. Thank you for supporting and loving this work until now. And I hope you will continue to watch over it as always.

Hosoya Yoshimasa (Sorinozuka Renshou)

In 2027, Inu × Boku SS will apparently mark the 15th anniversary of its broadcast. The world has changed rapidly up to today, and when I think about the dubbing period I was involved in, it feels like a distant past. But I am truly glad that Inu × Boku SS is still loved by fans. ‘Kuroi Ittanmomen’ still feels stylish to me somehow, and I still receive messages saying people like that character, which is a blessing. I would be happy if you continue to support Inu × Boku SS.

Hikasa Youko (Yukinokouji Nobara)

Congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the Inu × Boku SS TV anime! My memories of dubbing Inu × Boku SS remain so vivid and unfaded that it feels like it was just recently. I looked forward to dubbing and meeting the cast members every week. I always had a youthful excitement in my heart. In my work, female staff members often tell me, ‘I entered this industry because I watched Inu × Boku SS!’ The power of the work to remain in viewers’ hearts is truly strong. And I am proud to have been involved as a character’s voice. Someday I’d like to hold a commemorative event where we can all talk about memories! Wow! That sounds fun! Maniac!! Eguchi Takuya (Watanuki Banri)

Congratulations on Inu × Boku SS’s 15th anniversary! At the time of recording, I was desperate because I couldn’t make a living from voice acting alone, and I was helped so much by warm seniors. I feel I was able to make it to today with that debt of gratitude in my heart. I hope Inu × Boku SS remains in everyone’s hearts forever.

Miyano Mamoru (Natsume Zange)

It feels strange to think that 15 years have passed since the TV anime. Our cast members were close in age, so we recorded in a lively, fun atmosphere; I still vividly recall those days. At events especially, Miyano had too much fun and fooled around a lot (laughs). Even at my own solo concerts, I have sung Natsume Zange’s character song ‘one way,’ and Zange is a very important presence to me. I want to keep loving Inu × Boku SS together with everyone for a long, long time!

Sugita Tomokazu (Aooni-in Tonbo)

If one is a true S, they would understand their partner, consider them, and make them happy. If one is a true M, they would cherish it, accept it, and shine together with it. May all S and M be happy, as if it were a dream that can never come true alone. Fuhahaha!!

Hanazawa Kana (Roromiya Karuta)

Congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the Inu × Boku SS TV anime! I still love Karuta-chan’s fluffy, sugar-spun atmosphere and her kind, caring nature toward her friends. When I went to the Inu × Boku exhibition in 2024, I was reminded once again that the work is loved by fans for a long time, and it made me happy. I am sure it will captivate people no matter when they encounter it, so I hope the original manga and anime reach those who have not yet touched it!!!

Introduction

A mysterious secret-filled master-servant mansion romantic comedy! The high-class mansion ‘Maison de Ayakashi’ is said to boast the strongest security.
