Prime 1 Studio’s Life Scale Masterline is adding a 1/1-scale figure of Kitagawa Marin from the TV anime Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru. The figure stands 164 cm tall and costs 1,320,000 yen (tax included). Preorders are being accepted from Friday, October 23, 2026, ahead of a planned release around June 2027.
A life-size Marin from head to toe
The figure is part of Prime 1 Studio’s Life Scale Masterline, announced as the company approaches its 15th anniversary on March 30, 2027. At full height, the figure is designed to capture Marin’s lively presence in high detail, from her clear smile to her light pose. The large scale allows for precise sculpting and paintwork that aims to preserve the anime’s visual impression.
Her head is a particular focus. The sculpt includes eyes with bright highlights, a face line that balances softness and sharpness, and long hair with finely defined strands. Each part of the head has been carefully built to bring out Marin’s character.
Details, pose options, and fabric outfit
The body’s proportions are sculpted with a natural three-dimensional feel, and the skin is painted based on the colors used in the anime. Her fingertips feature nail tips finished with lamé. The left arm can be swapped between a peace sign and an open hand, allowing for different poses.
The school uniform’s shirt, tie, and skirt are made from fabric material, with repeated sizing adjustments used to create a relaxed fit. The black and silver bracelets are also made with attention to how they sit on the figure.
The uniform can be removed to reveal the swimsuit seen in Season 1, Episode 2, emphasizing a fresh, healthy look.

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru is a romantic comedy by Fukuda Shinichi, serialized in Young Gangan. The story follows Gojou Wakana, a high school boy who aims to become a head craftsman making hina doll faces, and Kitagawa Marin, a popular classmate at the center of the class, as the two come to share a certain secret. The manga completed in March 2025, with 15 volumes published.
