A pop-up shop for the TV anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is coming to Ximen Underground City in Taipei, Taiwan. From November 5, 2026 (Thursday), Shop No. 6 will offer newly drawn goods featuring Maomao and Jinshi in cool outfits inspired by the theme Hyoka (ice confections).
Third Season Expands the Story Beyond the Rear Palace
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a puzzle-solving entertainment series based on the light novel by Hyuuga Natsu. Set in the rear palace, it follows Maomao, a girl serving as a poison tester, as she resolves a range of difficult incidents. The story is known for Maomao’s spirited heroine qualities, its full-fledged mystery elements, and the human drama woven into an exotic worldview.
The TV anime’s third season began airing in October 2026. The story moves from the rear palace to the city as signs of disaster threaten the country, a mysterious shrine maiden confuses the people, and Jinshi faces his duty as the emperor’s younger brother. New trials await Maomao and Jinshi.

Hyoka-Inspired Illustrations Head to Taiwan
A collaboration cafe themed around the coolness of ice confections (Hyoka) ran for a limited time at Share CAFE locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka from July 24, 2026 (Friday). The original goods coming to Taiwan use newly drawn Hyoka-themed illustrations and newly drawn mini-character art from that cafe event.
The new illustrations show Maomao and Jinshi in slightly different, cool attire while holding collaboration menu items. The Taipei shop will sell original goods such as acrylic stands, can badges, and tote bags that capture the refreshing mood.
Purchase Bonus and Web Sale
Visitors can also receive a purchase bonus. For every 770 yuan (tax included) spent on eligible products, one original bromide from a set of four designs will be given at random.
The bonus is available while supplies last. The designs differ between the event venue and the web sale.
After the pop-up shop ends, web sales are scheduled to begin at the Anique shop (Taiwan) on December 8, 2026 (Tuesday) from 10:00.
