A new 1/7 scale figure of Makise Kurisu from STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is now open for preorder through limited distribution, including hobby retailer AmiAmi. The figure is priced at 67,800 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release in April 2028 under the TRIKT brand.
STEINS;GATE was released in October 2009 as the second entry in the science-adventure series, with planning and original work by Shikura Chiyomaru. The TV anime version also proved popular, while the spin-off STEINS;GATE Hiyoku Renri no Darling and sequel STEINS;GATE 0 became major topics. STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is a remake of the original STEINS;GATE.
The figure places Makise at the center of a composition featuring an artificial satellite, giant gears, and a keyboard that symbolize the story.
Glowing panels displaying countless 0s and 1s are arranged in three dimensions. The complex, interlocking mechanical motifs are used to express the many branching worldlines.
Lighting gimmicks are built into various parts of the figure, significantly changing the scene. Collectors can enjoy different expressions from Makise, including changes in color and shadow, in person.
