At the “63rd All Japan Model & Hobby Show,” the product images for the new Gunpla kit, the “MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka,” were unveiled for the very first time!
BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has proudly unveiled the very first official images of their highly anticipated new Gunpla kit, the “MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka.”
Full Reveal of MG Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka, Fully Supervised by Katoki Hajime!
Hailing from the classic series *Kidou Senshi Gundam ZZ*, the “Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka” is being brought to life as an MG (Master Grade) Gunpla kit, under the complete supervision of the renowned mechanical designer Katoki Hajime. Until now, fans have only seen this magnificent mobile suit in concept line art, but its complete, awe-inspiring form has finally been dramatically revealed!
The kit offers incredible versatility: by reconfiguring its elaborate additional armor, the powerful “Hyper Mega Cannon” can be securely attached to the “Full Armor ZZ Gundam.” What’s more, discerning builders can choose to remove the additional armor entirely to faithfully recreate the “Kyouka-gata ZZ Gundam” (Enhanced ZZ Gundam) from the series.
The additional armor parts have been meticulously adjusted to fit seamlessly with the main body, resulting in a perfectly balanced proportion that defies any bulky impression. The “Double Beam Rifle” can be elegantly attached to the forearms or dynamically held by the hand parts, allowing for a variety of iconic poses.
For impressive firepower, the “Hyper Mega Cannon” can be mounted onto the backpack by simply swapping out the missile pod. The forearms are designed with a clever roll mechanism, ensuring that the additional armor articulates smoothly and doesn’t interfere when the arms are raised horizontally, preserving both aesthetics and playability.
