About Haikyuu!!
Haikyuu!! is a monumental sports manga by Furudate Haruichi, which ran for eight and a half years from February 2012 in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shounen Jump”. It captivated audiences worldwide with its intense coming-of-age drama about high school students passionately dedicated to volleyball. All 45 volumes of the manga have surpassed a cumulative circulation of 70 million copies. The TV anime series, which first began in 2014, saw its fourth season produced by December 2020.
The theatrical film `Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Gomi Suteba no Kessen` (also known as Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle), released in February 2024, became a massive hit, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide. The excitement around the series is set to accelerate even further with the announced production of the highly anticipated sequel, `Gekijouban Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin` (which can be translated as Haikyuu!! VS The Little Giant), and a special anime titled `Haikyuu!! Bakemonotachi no Ikutokoro` (which can be translated as Haikyuu!! Where the Monsters Go), along with its television broadcast.
The Mochimochi Mascot Series Evolves!
The `Mochimochi Mascot` series, first launched in July 2015, features adorable rice-bale-shaped mascots equipped with ball chains. These palm-sized mascots are incredibly popular for their versatility; you can display them, play with them, and even take them out with you on adventures!
While the series has introduced various iterations like “Mini,” “MS,” and “PS” over the years, the latest addition is the “Touch” series. This new lineup boldly transforms the mascots from their traditional rice-bale shape into a more humanoid form, all while retaining the beloved characteristics of the original `Mochimochi Mascot` series.
