About Blue Lock
For those new to the phenomenon, Blue Lock is a gripping soccer manga serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, penned by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yuusuke. The story revolves around the “Blue Lock” project, an audacious initiative launched by the Japan Football Union. Their goal? To unearth and cultivate the ultimate striker who can lead Japan to World Cup victory. The manga plunges readers into a cutthroat survival game where 300 talented high school forwards, gathered from across the nation, battle fiercely to prove their worth and secure a coveted spot in the program.
What truly sets Blue Lock apart is its groundbreaking concept, a cast of ego-driven characters bursting with individuality, and an utterly unpredictable plot that has captivated audiences both in Japan and internationally. This latest wave of merchandise draws inspiration from Blue Lock‘s exciting world, featuring newly drawn and re-imagined illustrations centered around a “Sweet Valentine” theme. Part 1 of the fair will run from November 7 to November 24, 2025, exclusively through Animate’s online store. Following that, Part 2 will be held at Animate stores nationwide from January 24 to February 15, 2026.
