Ikimonogakari’s “Ikite, Sansan” Music Video Premieres for Anime *Kingdom* OP!
Get ready, Ikimonogakari fans! The music video for their highly anticipated new song, “Ikite, Sansan,” is set to premiere on YouTube on December 8th (Monday) at 8 PM JST. To build excitement, a captivating teaser video has already been released!
The track “Ikite, Sansan” has been making waves as the opening theme for the current TV anime *Kingdom* Season 6, earning significant attention for how beautifully it captures the essence of the series’ world. This exciting MV premiere comes just before the CD release, which is scheduled for December 10th (Wednesday).
Alongside the MV premiere, a special “YouTube Premium Afterparty” has been announced exclusively for YouTube Premium members. The “Ikite, Sansan” CD will be available in two distinct editions: a Completely Limited Production Edition (CD+BD+bonus items, priced at 4,400 yen including tax) and a First Press Limited Edition (CD only, priced at 1,650 yen including tax).
The Completely Limited Production Edition is a treasure trove for fans, featuring special packaging, Ikimono Card 076, a B2 poster, and silver tape. The included Blu-ray disc will contain the full music video and a fascinating behind-the-scenes making-of video. Both editions will include three tracks: the regular version of “Ikite, Sansan,” “Ikite, Sansan -Minasan, Konnitsuwa!! Rokuman no Koe ver.-,” and an instrumental version.

Ikimonogakari celebrated their 25th anniversary as a group in 2024, a monumental year that saw them hold their very first Budokan acoustic performance in November. Ikimonogakari has announced an ambitious and massive tour titled “Cho Zenkoku Angya!! ~47 Todoufuken Gurutto Nihon Isshu shimaSHOW!!~” (Super Nationwide Pilgrimage!! ~Let’s Tour All 47 Prefectures of Japan!!~) slated to run from 2026 to 2027. This grand tour will kick off at the Atsugi City Cultural Hall in Kanagawa Prefecture and will journey across the entire nation.
Furthermore, mark your calendars for March 14th and 15th, 2026, as the “Cho Ikimonogakari Fes Debut 20 Shunen da yo!! ~Arigatou tte Tsutaetakute~” (Super Ikimonogakari Fes It’s Their 20th Anniversary!! ~Wanting to Convey Our Thanks~) festival will take place at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY. This star-studded event will feature an impressive lineup of guest artists including Aina the End, Kamishiraishi Mone, Sukima Switch, TOMOO, Hata Motohiro, Makihara Noriyuki, and wacci, alongside Ikimonogakari themselves.
