About the gMS-α Akai Gundam

The “gMS-α Akai Gundam” is the designation for the “RX-78-02 Gundam” that Shaa Azunaburu seized from the Earth Federation Forces in Kidou Senshi Gundam GQuuuuuuX and modified into his personal mobile suit. This “FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Akai Gundam Set,” exclusive to Premium Bandai, faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s distinct features in three dimensions, characteristic of the “CONVERGE” line. These include its striking red coloring, large wirelessly guided terminals known as “Bits”, and the “Alpha Psycho-Comm” system.

Accessories and Recreations

A notable highlight is the inclusion of a variety of armaments, allowing fans to recreate two different loadouts: one from the One Year War era, and another from U.C.0085, when the mobile suit was operated by Itou ShuuJi. The set also comes with four Bits, each including a base that allows for display in a floating state, and a shield featuring the faded Zeon emblem from the U.C.0085 period. Combined with these accessories, you can truly appreciate the charm of the Red Gundam across different eras.
