About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, serialized in Shueisha’s “Jump Comics.” With all 23 volumes published, the series boasts an impressive cumulative circulation of over 220 million copies. It tells the story of Kamado Tanjiro, a young boy whose family was tragically murdered by demons. To turn his demon-transformed younger sister, Nezuko, back into a human, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps and plunges himself into a fierce battle against demons. The series has gained immense popularity for its poignant narrative of humans and demons, intense sword-fighting action, compelling characters, and occasional comedic scenes.
The anime, animated by ufotable, has expanded into a series since its beginning with TV Anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Kamado Tanjiro Risshi-hen in April 2019. Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen has been decided as a three-part film series, with “Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai” premiering on July 18. The final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and demons unfolds in the Infinity Castle, the demons’ stronghold.
