About the Anime: Lycoris Recoil
Lycoris Recoil is an original TV anime directed by Adachi Shingo, who is well-known for his character design and chief animation direction on series like Sword Art Online and the WORKING!! series. The story follows the exploits of “Lycoris” agents working for the secret organization DA (Direct Attack), which prevents crimes before they happen. Our main protagonists are the carefree and optimistic Nishikigi Chisato, who tackles her missions with a lively spirit, and the cool, efficiency-driven Inoue Takina.
The main cast features Anzai Chika as Nishikigi Chisato and Wakayama Shion as Inoue Takina. The popularity of the series also led to a stage play adaptation, with Kouchi Misato portraying Chisato and Motoyoshi Sakiho as Takina, which premiered in January 2023, followed by a second stage play in June 2024. Additionally, a new short movie depicting their daily lives, titled Lycoris Recoil Friends are thieves of time., has been streaming on YouTube and other platforms since April 2025.

Chisato is sculpted with her arms raised high and back arched, her vibrant and cheerful expression truly captivating. Takina, on the other hand, is depicted with her hands on her knees, poised as if she’s about to begin her rigorous training. Chisato stands at an impressive height of approximately 24cm, while Takina measures about 18cm tall.
