Oshi no Ko, Re:Zero, Konosuba, and Bungo Stray Dogs Stages Confirmed for Okinawa Animation Festival 2026!
Get ready for a special experience at the “Okinawa Animation Festival 2026,” a fan meeting event taking place in Okinawa, Japan’s southernmost resort paradise. This exciting festival is set to unfold mainly in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, on January 24th and 25th, 2026. KADOKAWA has just announced that four of its popular anime titles—Oshi no Ko, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!, and Bungou Stray Dogs—will host captivating stage events. What’s more, a special exhibition for Oshi no Ko, titled “TV Anime Oshi no Ko Museum in Okinawa,” will also be featured at the venue!
The Okinawa Animation Festival aims to create unforgettable fan experiences by gathering entertainment companies, production studios, and popular voice actors in the vibrant setting of Okinawa. With its breathtaking natural beauty and rich historical heritage, Okinawa provides a truly extraordinary and liberating backdrop for various anime-related programs, all united under the slogan: “Let’s make Okinawa an anime holy land!”
Exciting Stage Events from KADOKAWA
KADOKAWA is bringing some of its most beloved anime series to life with a series of special stage events. On January 24th, fans can look forward to the “Oshi no Ko Ohanashi Shucchouban in Okinawa,” featuring the talented voice actors Ootsuka Takeo-san, who voices Aqua, and Ikoma Yurie-san, the voice of Ruby.
Then, on January 25th, the excitement continues with three more incredible stages. The “TV Anime Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Okinawa Anime Fest Special Stage” will feature Kobayashi Yuusuke-san, the voice of Natsuki Subaru, and Amasaki Kouhei-san, the voice of Otto Suwen. Following this, the “Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Okinawa Anime Fest Special Stage” will host Fukushima Jun-san, who voices Kazuma, and Kayano Ai-san, the voice of Darkness. Capping off the day will be the “Bungou Stray Dogs Okinawa Anime Fest Special Stage,” with Ono Kensho-san, the voice of Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, joined by Minami Masahiko-san, the Representative Director and Producer at BONES, and Kurakane Chiaki-san, a Producer at KADOKAWA.
All stage events are free to attend, but require advance application for seat reservation. The lottery受付 for stage tickets kicked off on November 19th and will close promptly at 11:59 PM on November 27th. Fans eager to experience these live talks and discussions should be sure to apply early!
Exclusive TV Anime Oshi no Ko Museum in Okinawa
Beyond the stages, the venue will also host a special exhibition dedicated to the TV anime Oshi no Ko, titled “TV Anime Oshi no Ko Museum in Okinawa.” This unique exhibit will showcase costumes actually worn by the cast during live performances, as well as life-sized standees featuring exclusive illustrations for the “47 Prefectures no Ko” Okinawa Prefecture series. Plus, there are plans for character greeting sessions! The museum will be open on both January 24th and 25th, so don’t miss the chance to visit if you’re attending the festival.
