About Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the manga by Gege Akutami, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump from March 2018 to September 2025. The story depicts the battle between curses, born from human negative emotions, and the jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them. Its worldwide series circulation, including digital versions, has surpassed an incredible 150 million copies.

The TV anime began airing in October 2020. Jujutsu Kaisen: The Movie “Shibuya Incident Special Edition” × “Culling Game Premiere Screening” hit theaters on November 7, 2025, and the highly anticipated TV anime third season, “Culling Game – First Part,” is set for a nationwide simultaneous broadcast on the MBS/TBS network’s “Super Animeism TURBO” block starting January 8, 2026.
