My Hero Academia Teams Up with Nagoya’s Higashiyama Zoo for a “PLUS ULTRA” Animal Collab!
Get ready for a wild collaboration! The first-ever campaign between the anime Boku no Hero Academia and the Nagoya City Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens, titled “PLUS ULTRA ANIMALS! Hone Your ‘Quirk’! Go ‘Even Further Beyond’ in the Animal World!”, is seeing special bromide photos released via GK Print. Sales start on January 23rd.
About the Anime Boku no Hero Academia
The series is a global phenomenon! Based on the wildly popular manga by Horikoshi Kouhei that serialized for ten years in Weekly Shounen Jump (published by Shueisha) and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, Boku no Hero Academia (also known as My Hero Academia) is a smash-hit anime. The story is set in a world where roughly 80% of the population possesses some superpower, known as a “Quirk.” It follows the journey of Midoriya Izuku “Deku” and his classmates at U.A. High School as they train to become professional Heroes—those who protect people and society from accidents, disasters, and villains who misuse their Quirks. Watch as they grow, battle, and forge bonds of friendship!
Starting with its first season in April 2016, the anime ran for a total of 8 seasons and 170 episodes through its Final Season in 2025, with four theatrical films also released. You can catch it now on various streaming platforms!

Collaboration Details and Special Bromides
Starting January 23rd, the collaboration between the anime HeroAca and the Nagoya City Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens kicks off! The event will feature collaborative goods, special menus, and an animal quiz rally. To coincide with this, special mini-character bromide photos, featuring newly drawn chibi versions of the characters, have been announced for sale.
Fans can print and enjoy these at multi-copy machines installed in FamilyMart, Lawson, and Ministop stores (excluding some locations).
There are 8 different designs in total (randomized), available in two sizes: L and 2L. They are scheduled to be on sale until 11:59 PM on February 23rd.
