KonoSuba Game ‘MachiSuba’ Theme Song Revealed: Machico’s New Track ‘WOOHOO!’

Theme Song Announcement at TGS2026

At the “TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026” (TGS2026) special stage, KADOKAWA announced on September 20, 2026, that the theme song for the new PC and mobile game Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! – Kono Aisubeki Machi ni Hanei o! (abbreviated as MachiSuba) will be Machico’s new track “WOOHOO!”. The announcement was made during a live streamed event from the DMM GAMES booth starting at 15:00, featuring Kazuma’s voice actor Fukushima Jun and KADOKAWA game producer Fujii Taiki. MC duties were handled by Hyakka Ryouran, and the archive of the broadcast is now available.

About the Game

MachiSuba is an “isekai trouble life RPG” for smartphones and PC, set in the world of the popular KonoSuba anime. Players can enjoy an original story that retains the series’ signature characters and humor. The game is supervised by original author Akatsuki Natsume, with production cooperation from Mishima Kurone. The release is scheduled for 2026, with an exact date yet to be determined. Pre-registration is currently open on the App Store and Google Play, and the PC version will be distributed via DMM GAMES. The main cast includes Fukushima Jun as Kazuma, Amamiya Sora as Aqua, Takahashi Rie as Megumin, and Kayano Ai as Darkness.

Machico’s New Song

Machico, who previously performed the series’ opening themes “fantastic dreamer” and “TOMORROW,” has written “WOOHOO!” specifically for MachiSuba. The song is described as a lively and energetic track that captures the chaotic, trouble-filled world of the game.

Special X Campaign

To commemorate the theme song announcement, an X campaign titled “[#MachiSuba Special Request] Aim for Machico’s Autograph! Theme Song Announcement Commemorative Campaign” is running. Two winners will receive a canvas art piece with a handwritten signature from Machico.
