The Tensura franchise has revealed two major anime plans: the spin-off Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Clayman REVENGE will get a TV anime in April 2027, while the third cour of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Season 4 is set to begin in July 2027.
A special collaboration video for Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Season 4 and Clayman REVENGE was also released alongside the announcement.
About the Tensura Series
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken follows Rimuru Tempest, a protagonist who is reincarnated in another world as a slime and uses the skills he acquires while gathering companions. The TV anime’s first season aired from October 2018 to March 2019, and the franchise has since expanded through spin-off anime and films. The series has more than 62 million copies in circulation worldwide, and the anime series has surpassed 3 billion cumulative views.
Season 4 Part 3 Set for July 2027
The fourth TV anime season is being broadcast in a split five-cour run. It aired two consecutive cours starting in April 2026, with the second cour’s final episode broadcast on July 25. After the episode, the collaboration special video was released, confirming that the third cour will begin in July 2027.
Clayman REVENGE Spin-off Gets TV Anime
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Clayman REVENGE, currently serialized in Kodansha’s Gekkan Shounen Sirius, is also getting a TV anime. The official spin-off centers on Demon Lord Clayman, who was defeated by Rimuru in the main story, and tells a story of a history that might have been but was not depicted in the main series. The original work is by Fuse, the manga is by Kajika Wataru, and the character draft designs are by Mitz Vah.
The spin-off will begin airing in April 2027, ahead of the third cour of Tensura. Koyasu Takehito voices Clayman. The director is Sugimoto Kentarou, with Oihara Yuuji handling series composition, Hashimoto Asumi and Sakai Hidetaka on character design, and Eightbit producing the animation. Comments from Fuse and Kajika Wataru were also released with the announcement.

Season 4 Soundtrack Begins Streaming
The original soundtrack for Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Season 4, titled Tensei Shitara Ongaku Datta Ken 4 vol.1, began streaming on September 26. It contains 76 tracks, including BGM from the first and second cours and TV-size versions of theme songs.

Clayman REVENGE was a project I came up with on a whim, and now it has been decided that it will be adapted into an anime! From the starting point, the story has moved along smoothly, so as the original author who pitched the project, I am excited and a little nervous (lol).
The concept of Clayman REVENGE was simply that it would be funny to see Clayman, with a serious face, scolding his subordinates while the glass in his hand shakes and wine spills. It creates a small stain on his pure white suit… and when Clayman notices, he desperately tries to hide the awkwardness.
At first, I wrote the plot thinking it might be good if it reached about two volumes, but thanks to the positive response from fans, my current feeling is that I want to continue it for as long as possible!
While sometimes having a serious Clayman drawn, I want to keep the work fundamentally enjoyable. Above all, I want not only me and Kajika-sensei but also all the creators, including the anime production team, to enjoy creating the work as one team. The anime Clayman REVENGE is being produced with that feeling, and I hope you will continue to support it!!

Just being allowed to draw a Tensura spin-off manga was a miracle for me, so when I heard about the anime adaptation, I could not feel it was real for a while! Seeing the anime character designs and visiting the recording session, I have been moved the whole time…! I am really, really looking forward to seeing Clayman’s army in the anime!!
Season 4 Part 3 Story Introduction
After holding the Founding Festival and establishing diplomatic relations with various countries, the Demon Federation Tempest begins moving toward the realization of a world where humans and monsters can live together, the “Human-Monster Co-Prosperity Sphere.” Crossing racial boundaries, joining hands, and prospering, Tempest advances.
However, behind the scenes, there are those who view the rise of Demon Lord Rimuru as dangerous. Granbell Rozzo, former “Hero” and leader of the five elders of the Kingdom of Siltrozzo, and his granddaughter Maribel Rozzo. Advocating the protection of humanity through domination, Granbell and Maribel weave schemes and clash with Rimuru. Meanwhile, in the Golden Country Eldorado, Demon Lord Leon begins to move for a certain purpose. A Hero who is the guardian of humanity and a Demon Lord who rules the world. As various intentions intersect, one “Hero” is about to awaken.
With unyielding feelings in his heart, Rimuru’s next battle begins.
