A cosplay rom-com that ran for 15 volumes
Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru is a romantic comedy by Fukuda Shinichi that was serialized in Young Gangan. The cosplay-themed story follows Gojou Wakana, a high school boy who aims to become a craftsman making the faces of hina dolls, and Kitagawa Marin, a popular girl who always sits at the center of the class, as the two end up sharing a certain secret. The manga concluded in March 2025, and its collected volumes ran to 15 in total.
The TV anime began airing in January 2022 and quickly became a hit, with Season 2 following in July 2025. Suguta Hina plays Kitagawa Marin and Ishige Shouya plays Gojou Wakana, while animation production is handled by CloverWorks.

The Season 2 goods lineup
Punikore! Acrylic Figure Kitagawa Marin
The “Punikore! Acrylic Figure” belongs to the deformed series from Azmaker, the company behind Kyara ON!. Heroine Kitagawa Marin is rendered in an adorable two-head-tall style, throwing an eye-catching pose, and the acrylic body measures approximately 90mm.
Acrylic Character Stand Kitagawa Marin (Deformed Character)
The “Acrylic Character Stand” uses the same illustration and measures approximately 70 x 94mm.
Thumbnail Kira Sticker Set
The holographic “Thumbnail Kira Sticker Set” is built around scene stills and comes in two varieties. Acrylic Coaster (with Stand) Kitagawa Marin
The “Acrylic Coaster (with Stand)” ships with a stand so it can be displayed upright. Featuring a full-of-energy Marin, it works as a coaster as well as a small interior piece.
