The Universal Century is being treated as real history once again. STRICT-G.ARMS, the collection line that imagines the setting of Kidou Senshi Gundam as an actual past, has unveiled two new flight jackets modeled on the Earth Federation Space Force and the Zeon Army. Pre-orders open on October 16, 2026 at Premium Bandai, the official online store of the Bandai Namco Group.
A collection line built on a real-army atmosphere
Kidou Senshi Gundam started as a 1979 television series and has grown over more than 45 years into a wide-ranging robot anime franchise spanning TV series, theatrical films and OVAs. Its world, built around mobile suit combat while dealing heavily with war, politics and human drama, has expanded into manga, novels, games and plastic models, and many of its entries stand in independent settings of their own. That breadth has earned it support from fans across generations and genres.
STRICT-G.ARMS takes the “Universal Century” stage of Kidou Senshi Gundam and reimagines it as documented history, proposing a lineup that carries a genuine military feel while remaining suited to daily use. The new additions are CWU-36P flight jackets in Earth Federation Space Force and Zeon Army designs.
Jacket details
To get as close as possible to the real Nomex material, the jackets use an original nylon fabric with thick ridges. The back features the deep action pleats seen in the early version of the design.
The silhouette is deliberately left un-modernized, so the jacket can be enjoyed just as vintage-era flight jackets were made.

Pre-order and general sale schedule
The pre-order period runs from October 16, 2026 (Friday) at 13:00 until October 25, 2026 (Sunday) at 23:00 through the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai. The seller is Bandai Co., Ltd., and shipping is scheduled for November 2026.
General sales begin on October 24, 2026 (Saturday) at STRICT-G Tokyo Odaiba, STRICT-G Tokyo Solamachi, STRICT-G NEOPASA Shizuoka (downbound) and STRICT-G Taga SA (downbound).
Sales may end once the prepared quantity is reached, and the product page may already be closed by the time it is accessed.
