Chiba Yuuki released his new album ◯ (read as En) at 0:00 on Friday, October 23, 2026. The album includes “Shinu ka Ikiru ka,” the ending theme written for the anime Steel Ball Run JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken.
“Shinu ka Ikiru ka” appears on the album as an already-released track.
The album has 17 tracks. Alongside “Shinu ka Ikiru ka,” it includes “Annyeonghaseyo” (アニョハセヨ), a collaboration with Lil Moshpit, and “Stanley Kubrick,” featuring American hip-hop rapper Juicy J; these are also included as already-released songs.
Elsewhere on the album, world-renowned DJ and producer Diplo appears on “ありがThanx.” International artists Bb trickz, DRAM, and Maleigh Zan also join the project.
Title and Artwork
The title ◯ carries multiple meanings. It can suggest en as in “縁,” connections between people, and en as in “円,” a circle that symbolizes circulation and expansion. The 17 tracks bring together encounters and experiences from Chiba’s activities in Japan and overseas.
The jacket artwork uses a “◯” drawn in a single stroke by TOMI-E, a pioneer of Japanese graffiti art.
Global Momentum
Chiba’s 2024 song “Team Tomodachi” became a viral hit in Japan and abroad. He also took part in Megan Thee Stallion’s “MAMUSHI feat. Yuki Chiba” and performed on the main stage at the US MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
In January 2026, his Lil Moshpit collaboration “Annyeonghaseyo” became a global viral hit, especially on TikTok. Popular Korean artists and creators from around the world posted dance videos using the song, and it was also used on the South Korean president’s official TikTok account.
