What is ‘Arne no Jikenbo’?
‘Arne no Jikenbo’ (which can be translated as Arne’s Case Files) is a full-fledged mystery and gothic fantasy series based on a serious deduction game. The original game was created by the team Harumurasaki and started serialization on the game distribution site ‘Game Magazine’ back in November 2017. The story is set in the town of Rügenberg, a place inhabited by all sorts of strange and supernatural beings. Here, we follow the fantastically mismatched duo: the “legendary vampire” detective Arne Nointer and the noble-born young lady Lin Reinweiss, who happens to be a total vampire otaku. Together, they tackle the bizarre and mysterious cases that plague their city.

After returning from Blumenstadt, Lin finds herself reminiscing about her first encounter with Arne.
Lin, living as the only daughter of the Reinweiss family, was spending her days worried about her father, who changed drastically after her mother’s death. During this time, she stumbled upon two corpses and a monstrous,畸形 creature. Managing to escape, she lost her way and ended up in a strange town. Her journey led her to a castle chapel, where she discovered the vampire Arne sleeping in a coffin—a fateful meeting that would change everything.
