Surreal “Educational Program” Prize Goods Featuring Tama the Seal Are Coming to Arcades!
Prize items for the original content ‘Educational Program’ by creator Momo Nikusu will appear at amusement facilities across Japan sequentially from late January 2026.
‘Educational Program’ is original content by creator “Momo Nikusu” (aka MNS), conceptualized around a “non-existent educational TV show” and known for its surreal stories. The series revolves around three main characters: the timid seal “Tama,” the octopus “Paul” who is being raised by Tama, and Tama’s personal computer “The Doctor.”
The item making its debut this time is an extra-large plush of Tama. It’s a massive size of about 40cm, promising an excellent hugging experience. Furthermore, it uses glow-in-the-dark fabric, with the unique feature of its eyes glowing in the dark. The impact when you turn off the room lights is sure to be huge, and simply displaying it will let you enjoy the surreal world of “Educational Program.”
Coming in February is a “Face Mug Cup” featuring Tama. It recreates Tama’s face in a die-cut style, with a playful design where the head becomes the lid. Of course, you can use it for your drinks, but wouldn’t it also be fun to just display it as a decoration?
