From the legendary Soukou Kihei Votoms series (also known as Armored Trooper Votoms), a fresh line of official character costumes and apparel is launching from COSPA, the experts in anime fashion. Get ready for T-shirts featuring vibrant prints of the “Scopedog” as illustrated by legendary mecha designer Okawara Kunio, along with “Red Shoulder” fatigue jackets and more. These items will be available for advance sale at Wonder Festival 2026 [Winter] at Makuhari Messe on Sunday, February 8, 2026, and at Inagi Hasshin Kichi Pair Terrace in early February 2026.
The Soukou Kihei Votoms series is a real robot anime masterpiece directed by Takahashi Ryouichi (note: the “Taka” in Takahashi uses the “ladder high” kanji) and produced by Sunrise. It all started with the TV series broadcast from 1983 to 1984, spawning OVAs, side stories, movies, event screenings, and novels. For over 40 years, it has captivated fans with its gritty realism and compelling story. The recent announcement of a new entry, Soukou Kihei Votoms: Haiiro no Majo (Hexe) (which can be translated as Armored Trooper Votoms: The Gray Witch), has set the fan community abuzz.
