Anisama 2025: Hikawa Kiyoshi＋KIINA. and THE IDOLM@STER SideM Return After 6 Years! Lia Joins After 9 Years! 3rd Wave of Performing Artists Announced
The anisong live event “Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!”” (affectionately known as “Anisama”) is set to take place over three days from August 29th to 31st, 2025, at Saitama Super Arena.
Now, the third wave of performing artists has been revealed, featuring three exciting acts: Hikawa Kiyoshi＋KIINA., Lia, and THE IDOLM@STER SideM.

The anisong live event “Animelo Summer Live 2025 “ThanXX!”” (affectionately known as “Anisama”) is set to take place over three days from August 29th to 31st, 2025, at Saitama Super Arena. Now, the third wave of performing artists has been revealed, featuring three exciting acts: Hikawa Kiyoshi＋KIINA., Lia, and THE IDOLM@STER SideM.
Anisama, which began in 2005, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, making it the world’s largest anisong live event. It’s not just anisong singers and voice actor artists who grace the stage; popular artists from the J-POP and rock scenes also make numerous appearances. What makes Anisama truly special is the variety of performances and surprises, including unique collaborations that you can only witness here, making it a major highlight of the summer.
This time, the third wave of three performing artists has been announced. Taking the stage on the first day, August 29th, is “Hikawa Kiyoshi＋KIINA.”, returning for their third appearance after six years, since 2019. Hikawa-san, who gained massive popularity in recent years with the theme song “Genkai Toppa x Survivor” for the TV anime Dragon Ball Super, is now also responsible for the ED theme “Party of Monsters” for the TV anime Gegege no Kitaro: Watashi no Aishita Rekidai Gegege, which began airing in April.
Upon the announcement of their Anisama appearance, Hikawa-san shared their excitement: “I performed at Anisama twice before, in 2017 and 2019. I feel like the Anisama stage and ‘Genkai Toppa x Survivor’ were personal turning points for me. As we reach the 20th anniversary milestone, I strongly wish to perform again, partly as a way to give back!”
Furthermore, on the second day, August 30th, “Lia,” known as the vocalist for the theme and insert songs of the TV and theatrical anime AIR, will appear. And on the final day, August 31st, “THE IDOLM@STER SideM,” who celebrated their 10th anniversary in July 2024 and will hold a 10th anniversary live performance featuring 16 units at K Arena Yokohama in July this year, will also join the lineup. The members participating in Anisama include Nakamaru Shuugo and Terashima Takuma, who have previously appeared as solo artists, as well as Masuyama Takeaki, Fukumachi Toshiyuki, Ise Yura, Miyazaki Masaya, and Ootsuka Takehiro, who will be making their first Anisama appearance this time.

I performed at Anisama twice before, in 2017 and 2019. During my first performance, I was so overwhelmed with anxiety and tension facing an audience that was completely new to me, but the never-before-heard roars of support from the seats pushed me forward. It felt like something broke through, like I was liberated, and I was able to enjoy the stage from the bottom of my heart. I feel like the Anisama stage and “Genkai Toppa x Survivor” were personal turning points for me. As we reach the 20th anniversary milestone, I strongly wish to perform again, partly as a way to give back!
