Exciting News from Ghibli Park’s Witch Valley!
Great news for Ghibli fans! The release of official pamphlets for each of the three enchanting buildings in Ghibli Park’s Witch Valley—Howl’s Castle, Witch’s House, and Okino Residence—has been officially announced. This marks the launch of a three-part series of Witch Valley official pamphlets, set to be published consecutively over three months starting in February.
What’s Inside These Magical Pamphlets?
Each pamphlet is a treasure trove for fans. They feature stunning, exclusive photos taken inside the buildings—shots you can’t see anywhere else. But that’s not all! Adding to the magic, Naoki Prize-winning author Miura Shion has penned original stories specifically for each pamphlet. These tales use the buildings as their settings, offering readers a brand-new narrative journey into the world of Ghibli.

Special Contributions from Beloved Voices
As a special bonus, the back of each pamphlet includes heartfelt essays from illustrious guests connected to the Studio Ghibli films where these buildings first captured our imaginations. They share their personal reflections on visiting Ghibli Park.
- For the Howl’s Castle pamphlet, the contributor is actor Kimura Takuya, the iconic voice of Howl in Hauru no Ugoku Shiro (also known as Howl’s Moving Castle).
- The Witch’s House pamphlet features singer-songwriter Aimyon, who created the song that inspired the catchphrase “What’s wrong with me?” in the film Aaya to Majo (also known as Earwig and the Witch).
- For the Okino Residence pamphlet, voice actress Takayama Minami shares her thoughts. She famously voiced both the protagonist Kiki and Ursula in Majo no Takkyuubin (also known as Kiki’s Delivery Service).

A Message from the Author: Miura Shion
Miura Shion shared her enthusiasm: “I wrote with all my heart to convey the charm of Ghibli Park and the beloved Ghibli works. You can start reading any of the three pamphlets, and through all three, the stories are subtly designed to cycle and connect. When you visit Ghibli Park, I hope you’ll pick them up and enjoy them as mementos of your journey, even back at home.”
