The official website for the Tenmaku no Jaadugar (also known as Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia) television anime has revealed additional cast members, staff, the opening theme, a second promotional video, and the main visual.
The series adapts Tomato Soup’s historical drama manga, which originally launched on the Souffle website in September 2021 and later began serialization in Mystery Bonita in March 2025. The anime will premiere with a 60-minute special on July 4 at 11:00 p.m. on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliates’ IMAnimation block, followed by BS Asahi. Starting from the second episode, the show will air at 11:30 p.m.

Pop band SEKAI NO OWARI (One Piece) performs the opening theme “Stella,” which is previewed in the second promotional video. Abel Góngora (Dandadan 2nd Season) is directing the anime at Science SARU. Kanichi Katou (Mashiro no Oto) handles series composition, while Kenichi Yoshida (Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven) serves as character designer and chief animation director. Koushirou Hino composes the music.
The manga’s fifth volume was published by Akita Shoten in April 2025, with the sixth volume scheduled for July 15, 2025. Yen Press licensed the series in English and published the second volume in November 2025, with the third volume set for July 28, 2025.
