Masuda Toshiki, Ishimi Manaka, Hidaka Rina, Koyasu Takehito Star in Authentic Chinese Fantasy Tensei Soushu no Hadou Tan Main PV Released

Get ready! The TV anime adaptation of the popular bilibili series, Tensei Shuushu no Hadoutan ~Subete wo Nominukomu Sakana to Haiagaru~, is set to begin broadcasting on July 2, 2025. It will air during the “B8station” anime block presented by Fuji Television and bilibili.

The main cast has also been revealed, featuring Masuda Toshiki, Ishimi Manaka, Hidaka Rina, and Koyasu Takehito. Comments from the cast members have arrived, along with the main promotional video showcasing the opening theme by CROWN HEAD, and the key visual.

Tensei Shuushu no Hadoutan ~Subete wo Nominukomu Sakana to Haiagaru~ is the Japanese dub version of a highly anticipated anime that premiered on the Chinese video-sharing service “bilibili” in May 2025. It quickly gained traction, amassing over 10 million views in just about two weeks. This series is a full-fledged Chinese fantasy epic, depicting the journey of a young man who, after suffering a tragic death by being consumed by his own spirit beast, is reincarnated with a new life and aims once more to reach the pinnacle of power.

With the broadcast start date announced, the main voice cast has also been unveiled. Masuda Toshiki takes on the dual roles of Fan Linxiao, a young man who founded the sect called Rinshou Kaku and aimed for supremacy but met his demise just before achieving his goal, and Liu Fengmang, the youth into whom he is reincarnated.

Also, the heroine of the story, Gu Ling, a spirit beast master belonging to Rinshou Kaku, is voiced by Ishimi Manaka. Additionally, the clever and strong-willed young lady of the Bai family, Bai Liansu, is voiced by Hidaka Rina, and the handsome eldest son of the Bai family, Bai Tanshu, is voiced by Koyasu Takehito. This PV showcases intense, powerful battles between spirit beasts, including the dramatic scene where Fan Linxiao is swallowed by his own beast. However, the scene shifts to introduce an adorable spirit beast and Liu Fengmang, Fan Linxiao’s reincarnated form. The video then follows Liu Fengmang as he strives for supremacy alongside his new spirit beast. The exhilarating sound of “Hohozuki” perfectly complements the grand world of the series, building excitement for the main story.

The striking key visual, featuring a massive, swirling fish in the background, also includes other spirit beast masters and spirit beasts beyond the main characters introduced this time. The presence of a mysterious figure standing back-to-back with Fan Linxiao in the visual is also quite intriguing.

We are CROWN HEAD, and we are honored to provide the opening theme for the TV anime Tensei Shuushu no Hadoutan ~Subete wo Nominukomu Sakana to Haiagaru~.

When we first saw the anime, we were captivated by its visual beauty and the depth of its world. We began production thinking about what kind of emotions we could entrust to the beginning of this story.

And thus, we arrived at “Hohozuki.”

Amidst a chaotic world, we likened the soul-burning, world-illuminating flame of life to the fruit of the hohozuki plant. We aimed to create a song that conveyed the dark surge of emotions lurking within the human heart and the intense pulse filled with ambition.

We are honored to be involved with this work through music.

We hope that “Hohozuki” can help amplify the charm of this series.
