Staff and Cast Revealed
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yani Neko (also known as Chainsmoker Cat) manga revealed additional staff members, theme song performers, and a promotional video on Sunday. The anime is set to premiere on July 3 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by AT-X.

Theme Songs
Rock band Wasureranneyo will perform the opening theme song “Nanmonee”, while Necry Talkie will perform the ending theme “Kemuri to Blue”. Both songs are previewed in the promotional video.
Director and Key Staff
Taku Kimura (Studio Lemon) is directing the anime at Bibury Animation Studios. Takashi Aoshima is handling the script. Riki Matsuura is designing the characters, and Keiichi Suzuki is composing the music.
Manga Information
Nyannyan Factory originally posted the comedy manga on X (formerly Twitter) in November 2022. Weekly Young Magazine began serializing the manga in February 2023. Kodansha published the 12th volume on May 20. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga in English, releasing the second volume on March 17, with the third volume set for June 16.
