“Blue Lock” Characters Bloom with Flower Crowns in New Goods & Animate Fair!
New merchandise featuring adorable illustrations of Isagi Yoichi, Itoshi Rin, and eight other characters from the TV anime Blue Lock, all wearing flower crowns, is on the way! To celebrate these charming new items, the “TV Anime Blue Lock Animate Fair 2025 ~flower crown~” is being held. Phase 1 is currently underway at the Animate Online Shop, and Phase 2 will kick off on August 16th at Animate stores nationwide (excluding the online shop). What’s more, new T-shirts designed with these freshly drawn illustrations will also be available starting August 16th.
Blue Lock is a popular soccer manga serialized in Kodansha’s “Shuukan Shounen Magazine”, written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yuusuke. The story is set within the “Blue Lock” project (the “Blue Prison”), a unique initiative aimed at developing the world’s greatest striker who will lead Japan to World Cup victory. The protagonist, Isagi Yoichi, along with 300 other high school students invited to the project, must navigate a rigorous survival game, sometimes crushing others and sometimes evolving themselves, in their quest to become the ultimate egoist striker.
The manga has achieved massive success, boasting over 40 million copies in circulation worldwide. It even won the Shounen Category award at the 45th Kodansha Manga Shou. Adding to the excitement, the TV anime’s official flagship exhibition, “Blue Lock Exhibition EGOIST EXHIBITION the animation”, is currently being held since April 2025, with plans to tour eight cities across Japan after its runs in Tokyo and Osaka, showing just how much the series is growing!

The brand new merchandise features the eight characters: Isagi Yoichi, Itoshi Rin, Nagi Seishirou, Chigiri Hyouma, Mikage Reo, Hiori You, Itoshi Sae, and Shidou Ryuusei. They are depicted in both full-body and deformed illustrations, all adorned with lovely flower crowns. The lineup includes fan favorites such as “Acrylic Stands” and “Character Badge Collection”.

Starting August 16th, Animate’s apparel and goods corner, “Space A la mode”, will unveil the second wave of its collaboration T-shirt series, “T-shirt Collection”. This new lineup will feature T-shirts adorned with the same fresh, flower-crown illustrations. On the same day, an exclusive “Only Shop” dedicated to the TV anime Blue Lock Animate Fair will also open at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store. This is definitely something fans won’t want to miss!

Phase 1 of the fair is currently running until June 22nd at the Animate Online Shop. During this period, for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on eligible pre-order items, you will receive one “Bromide” (from a total of 8 types) as a bonus.

And, at Animate stores nationwide (excluding the online shop) from August 16th to September 7th for Phase 2, for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on Blue Lock related goods (purchases or reservations with a minimum 1,100 yen deposit), or for every book, CD, Blu-ray, or DVD purchased or reserved (with a minimum 1,100 yen deposit), you will receive one “Foil-Stamped Illustration Card” (from a total of 8 types) as a bonus.
